Cheng Gong Avenue (Airport Expressway) is 14.3 kilometers long in total, which is the key project of Xiamen city in 2005. It links the Airport junction to the north and Xinglin bridge. It becomes an expressway in the island. Cheng Gong Avenue is an original tunnel intersection mode, it sees Zhonggu mountain and Wanshi mountain tunnel as the core. The tunnel group is composing in total seven tunnels including rebuilt Zhonggu mountain A and B cavity, new built Wanshishan left cavity, right cavity and A、B、C three ramps. The length of whole tunnel group is 5852.384 meters while Zhonggu Mountain tunnel A cavity is 1101.911 meters, B cavity is 1227.573 meters, Wanshi mountain tunnel is 1300.5 meters, right cavity is 1255 meters.
The main lighting of Zhonggu mountain Wanshi mountain tunnel is adopting T8 2x58W fluorescent lamp lighting and working with EASEIC 212016 type light-dimmer ballast, which meets the lighting effect, luminous flux, life-span, light-color, color rendering requirements of the tunnel under the specific environment, it can guarantee the excellent visibility in smog formed by the automobile exhausting gas. Until now, the lighting system has been almost in a long time lighting condition.
