Jimei Bridge，which is a cross-sea bridge located in Xunjiang Sea of north Amoy Island, south from Huli District in Amoy Island, north to two-way eight driveways of Jimei district outer the island. It had the record of shortest time of construction work in the same type Bridge in China. The construction of Jimei Bridge is an integrated development construction with the combination of Cross-Sea Bridge, seabed tunnel, circling sea land construction, and environment protection. The main projects are city road bridge and BRT（Bus Rapid Transit, speed bus way）these two parts of channels. The project is 8.438 kilometers long in total while the sea bridge is 3.82 kilometers with 1.4 kilometers tunnel, four interconnection junctions and 1 toll station. The length all over of BRT is 9.695 kilometers. Jimei Bridge is the third one direct to Xiamen Island after Xiamen Bridge and Haicang Bridge.
The main lighting of Jimei Bridge is adopting T8 1x36W fluorescent lamp lighting and matching with EASEIC 212023 type dimmable ballast. The energy saving and the equipment maintenance are fully considered for it. The brightness is according with the relevant regulations and also with paying attention to the glare to guarantee the traffic safety. The night scenery of Jimei Bridge is an important part in the city scenery of Amoy. No affecting image in the daytime. The beautiful view and decoration ornamental were considered as it was designed before. It radiates in night which is different from in the daytime. It makes the scenery more bright and more magnificent, just like a dragon floating on the surface of the sea.
