Since October 18, 2005, the Zhonggu Hill closure tunnel has achieved Nanputuo to Botanic Garden by the direction of passage, after two months, the passage will be in both directions.Wanshishan tunnel transformation will be fully completed in the next Spring Festival travel season, when two-way access tunnel,it will greatly ease the closure to Zhenhai road and the surrounding roads traffic pressure. It will be more convenient for the public travelling. Zhonggu Hill Wanshishan Tunnel is converted by the Zhonggu Hill A and B-holes, the newWanshishan left - and right holes, with the A, B, C ramps,it is seven tunnels in total. They formed a tunnel group.
The entire length of the tunnel group is 5852.384 m. The length of Zhonggu Tunnel A hole is 1101.911 m, the length of B hole is 1227.573 m. The length of the left Wanshishan tunnel is 1300.5 m total and right is 1,255 meters.
